Reality TV star and entrepreneur Blac Chyna, now going by her birth name Angela White, has officially ended her engagement to Grammy-winning songwriter Derrick Milano.
The couple, who got engaged during a romantic moment at Howard University’s Homecoming in October 2024, had been together for over a year before deciding to take the next step. However, in a heartfelt Instagram post shared recently, Angela revealed that the engagement has been called off.
“After much prayer and reflection, Derrick and I have decided to call off the engagement,” she wrote. “We love each other deeply and are still good friends, but we both believe that God’s guidance has shown us this is the right path for both of us as we continue each other’s journeys. May we find peace and fulfilment in his divine will. Trusting that his plan is greater for us.”
Despite the breakup, Angela emphasised that there is no bad blood between them and that they will continue to support one another as friends. The message struck a spiritual and reflective tone, with Angela leaning on her faith as she navigates the next chapter of her life.
This marks another high-profile engagement that didn’t lead to marriage for Angela. She was previously engaged to Rob Kardashian, with whom she shares a daughter, but the relationship ended in 2017. She was also engaged to rapper Tyga, the father of her son, though that relationship also ended before a wedding could take place.
As Angela White continues to reshape her public image, focusing on faith, healing, and personal growth, fans have shown support for her decision and praised her maturity in handling the split.
