Monday: Morning thunderstorms are expected in Taraba and Adamawa, while afternoon and evening showers will extend to Zamfara, Kebbi, Taraba, Adamawa, and Kaduna.

Tuesday: The day will begin with sunny skies and patches of clouds, but isolated thunderstorms and moderate rainfall are likely in Bauchi, Taraba, Kaduna, Kebbi, Katsina, Kano, and Adamawa.

Wednesday: Thunderstorms are forecasted in the morning across Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, Jigawa, Kaduna, Katsina, Kano, and Gombe, with more intense activity expected later in Sokoto, Kebbi, Taraba, Adamawa, and Zamfara.

Southern Nigeria: Heavy Showers and Coastal Rainfall

Monday: The day will start with cloudy skies over Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, Delta, and Bayelsa. By afternoon, heavy rainfall is expected in Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti, Osun, Ogun, Imo, Abia, Edo, Ebonyi, Enugu, and the entire coastal belt.

Tuesday: Early morning rains will affect Cross River, Bayelsa, Delta, and Akwa Ibom, with more widespread rain likely across Ekiti, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, Oyo, Ondo, Delta, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Rivers, and Lagos later in the day.

Wednesday: Expect morning clouds and light rain, followed by widespread rain showers across the southern region in the afternoon and evening.

North-Central Nigeria: Scattered Storms and Cloudy Skies

Monday: Cloudy to partly cloudy mornings will transition to thunderstorms in FCT, Kogi, Niger, Benue, Plateau, and Nasarawa.

Tuesday and Wednesday: Similar weather patterns are forecasted, with isolated thunderstorms affecting FCT, Kwara, Benue, Kogi, Nasarawa, Plateau, and Niger throughout both days.

NiMet urged the public to exercise caution, especially in storm-prone areas. Key safety recommendations offered include:
